Its the Final Countdown!

So, as most of you have heard, I am doing Semester at Sea this Fall through the university of Virginia.  It is a 4 month trip around the world on a converted cruise ship.  I will be studying by sea, and exploring each port.  These ports include:


Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada (8/25-8/27, this is where I catch the boat)
Cadiz, Spain (9/4-9/8)
Morocco, Casablanca (9/10-9/14)
Takoradi, Ghana (9/22-9/25)
Cape Town, South Africa (10/3-10/8)
Port Louis, Mauritius (10/14-10/15)
Chennai, India (10/22-10/27)
Singapore (10/31-11/1)
Ho Chi Minh City, Viet Nam (11/2-11/8)
Hong Kong/Shanghai, China (11/11-11/16)
Kobe/Yokohama, Japan (11/19-11/23)
Hololulu/Hilo, Hawaii (12/3-12/6)
San Diego, California (12/13! Home!)


Now, the ship, being a converted cruise ship, does not have free internet. Sooo, I will be updating this IF I can find an internet cafe in the port. If you wish to keep in touch my email that I can use for free, while on the ship, mrglimpse@semesteratsea.net.  Yes, I know, mr glimpse. haha. But that won't be activated until 8/27.


Also, my phone is going to be disconnected, so, really, this email is the only way to communicate with me while I'm gone.  Except the occasional facebook appearance while in port.


I'll probably update once I get into Nova Scotia, but after that, all bets are off.
